一、 為依紀念日及節日實施條例（以下簡稱本條例），辦理補假及調整放假日等相關事項，以提升行政效率及增進便民服務，特訂定本要點。
二、 本要點適用於政府機關。但本條例第九條所定政府機關（構）、學校及軍事機關，其放假日之調移，由目的事業主管機關依該條規定辦理。民間企業之放假，依照勞動基準法及其他法令規定，由勞資雙方協商處理。
三、 紀念日及節日之放假日，逢星期六者於前一個上班日補假，逢星期日者於次一個上班日補假。但除夕及春節放假日逢例假日者，得於前一個或次一個上班日補假。
四、 因應除夕及春節連續假期，除夕及春節放假日之次一個上班日為星期五者，得調整和平紀念日之補假日至該上班日補假。
五、 政府行政機關辦公日曆表由行政院人事行政總處依本要點規定擬訂，簽陳行政院核定，並於每年六月三十日前，公告次年之辦公日曆表。但有特殊情形時，得延後於八月三十一日前公告。
