一、宗旨：
(一) AKSF 強調數學的樂趣，並鼓勵解決數學問題，支持學校的數學教育以及促進社會對數學的積極認識，它有助於在青少年中普及和推廣數學，並確保這些數學活動吸引盡可能多的學生，而無需在國家之間進行任何國家競爭比較。
(二)袋鼠數學並非傳統的競賽數學，主要檢測學生「數學建模能力」、「視覺感知能力」、「閱讀理解能力」，並啟發學生的思想、毅力、創造力和想像力。
二、辦理方式：
(一)參加對象：國小一年級至六年級學生
(二)學校報名截止日： 3 月 8 日(三)放學前
(三)競賽時間：2023年 04 月 06 日～04 月 21 日(確切時間另行公布)
三、報名方式：
(一)如欲報名之學生，於截止日前至教務處找教學組智鈞老師
